This was just one of the "egg-speriments" we did during science today! We also learned how you can tell if an egg is boiled or raw, BEFORE you crack it! (Cooked eggs spin.) We observed that an egg that is bumped will roll in a circle shape, which helps it stay in the nest.
Best of all, though, was our snack today. We ate hard boiled eggs, that we peeled ourselves! Some had brown shells and some had white shells, but they all looked very similar inside! Thanks to the families who boiled eggs for us to sample. We all loved the experience, even if we weren't ALL crazy about eating them! One girl said, "This is why I love Kindergartner!" Now that's an egg-cellent way to end any day!
