It was also time to rhyme this week! We sang "Down By the Bay" and practiced hearing words that sound the same at the end. We will keep practicing this concept next week.
In math, we are learning to write numerals correctly, while we make sure we can identify them and understand their meanings. With M&Ms, we practiced graphing and making patterns. We were excited to explore coins this week, too! Try sorting out a coin collection at home to keep practicing.
In honor of Constitution Day on Wednesday, we looked at Woodfield's school rules more in depth this week. The Constitution gives rules for our country to keep us all safe and having fun together, just like our school rules help us.
We continued our butterfly explorations this week, with a few live examples arriving in our classroom. We are still hoping to find some monarch caterpillars to observe. Thanks for hunting for them!
